The Oxbow show went great this year. This was our sixth year working on this event. The evening is a gala and auction at the Oxbow Summer Art Camp in Saugatuck, Michigan. About 500 people assemble under a large tent in a meadow for dinner, drinks, live music and the auction.
There are quite a few logistic challenges for us. Did I mention the event is in a meadow? In a tent? We have uneven ground to set the stage on. Limited power. No real rigging points in the top of the tent. Plus we had to hang almost 200 Chinese lanterns for decorations. Even with all that it was a great evening. The guests had wonderful time and the auction was quite successful. Special thanks to lead audio guy Bill Gilbert.
